In this example, the Scout allows the officer to see the suspect hiding around a corner, without exposing himself to the line of fire or giving away his own position.

See the 'heat signature'

The Scout sees the ‘heat signature’ of the suspect’s footprints during rapid pursuits, providing the officer with advanced tracking capabilities. He knows which way the suspect went.

Find suspects hiding

In this scenario, the officer uses the Scout to investigate the roof space, finding the suspect hiding, in almost complete darkness, amongst the ceiling rafters.

Here, the suspect is hiding in the foliage and is undetectable to the naked eye, giving the criminal the advantage and exposing the officer to danger. The Scout sees through the foliage, highlighting the suspect and improving officer safety.
