Powerful Infrared Lens A lens with a large diameter. More infrared radiation reaches the detector, resulting in crisp infrared images. The B640’s high precision germanium lenses with integral USM focusing mechanism, are designed to take full advantage of the high resolution FPA detector. The camera can be manually focussed by turning the lens-ring or set to autofocus. High Quality Digital Camera The B640 features exchangeable lenses with adjustable apertures for generating crisp, visual images in all conditions. Tiltable Viewfinder The B640’s high resolution viewfinder is tiltable and can be adapted to the individual user. It is ideal for outdoor use or when the LCD screen is not being used. Built-in Video Light Allows you to take clear, visual images even in the darkest environments Large, Bright LCD Screen A super sized, 5.6", foldable, high quality LCD screen ensures that you see the smallest detail and temperature changes. Multi-Angle Handle with Integrated Direct Access Buttons A turnable control grip, with control buttons and joystick, allow you to move the camera to the most comfortable position. These few buttons and the joystick control the B640, allowing point and shoot operation. Functions like autofocus, freezing and storing of images are just a button away. Programmable Direct Access Buttons For increased flexibility, the operator can program buttons on the side of the ThermaCAM™ B640 to perform functions such as changing colour palettes, emissivity settings or temperature ranges and activating analysis tools such as spots and areas. Laser Pointer A conveniently located button activates the laser pointer, helping you to associate the hot spot in an infrared image with the physical target in the field. Flexible Interfaces Deliver fast access to composite video connection, USB, FireWire and direct connection to charge the battery inside the camera. Dual Storage Facility JPEG images and / or MPEG movies are stored on high capacity, removable SD cards. The camera features 2 SD card slots, allowing the storage of thousands of images. Easy Connectivity USB or FireWire connections allows for fast download of full radiometric, 14-bit JPEG images or streaming, non-radiometric infrared video to your PC. Interfaces Text comments can be uploaded to the camera through an IrDa interface. A headset can be connected for voice annotations. Intelligent Battery System The camera’s Li-Ion battery delivers over 3 hours of continuous use. Battery charging can be performed in-camera, in-car or in a 2-bay battery charger. |
