Extraordinary Image Quality

The smallest temperature changes can be critical in a building environment. The B20’s state-of-the-art microbolometer detector allows you to see temperature changes as small as 0.08°C, producing outstanding, noise-free, crisp, high-resolution images with a speed of 50 digital images per second.

Viewfinder

The ThermaCAM™ B20 incorporates a high-resolution TFT colour viewfinder which is ideal for both indoor and outdoor building applications.

An optional high-resolution LCD display with remote control is also available.

Direct Access Buttons

Four operator programmable buttons on the side of the B20 allow you to pre-program frequently used functions such as changing colour palettes, emissivity settings, activating analysis tools, etc.

LCD Data Panel

An LCD screen delivers continuous information about the status of various camera features such as battery usage, storage capacity, communication status, etc.

Video Interface

Fast access to video connections and direct connection to charge the battery inside the camera.

Image Storage

Radiometric JPEG images are stored on a removable multimedia FLASH card.

Easy Connectivity

USB and RS-232 connections allow fast download of full radiometric 14-bit JPEG images.

Intelligent Battery System

The Li-Ion battery supplies over 2 hours of continuous operation and can be recharged in-camera, in-car or in a 2-bay battery charger .

Upgradeability

A wide range of accessories is available, including various lenses, a handle incorporating a visual image camera and laserpointer, and a detachable LCD display with remote control buttons.

Software

Designed specifically for the building industry, ThermaCAM Image Builder™ is an image assembling program which automatically creates large, composite infrared images from many small images. Useful if you do not have a wide-angle lens.

ThermaCAM™ Reporter™ is Microsoft Word® based, easy-to-use software that incorporates powerful image analysis and report generation facilities for fast and accurate evaluation of building inspection reports.

A special template, designed in association with infrared building inspectors, is incorporated, allowing you to produce professional reports to present to your clients immediately.

And, because all your reports are in Microsoft Word® format, sharing them with clients and colleagues is simplicity itself.

Laser Activator

A conveniently placed button activates the Laser Locat IR, helping you to associate the hot spot in the infrared image with the physical target in the field.
