Automatic Dew Point Identification Alarm
Complicated calculations needed to find areas susceptible to condensation can now be done on-site in real-time with the ThermaCAM™ B20’s patented dewpoint identification alarm.
All necessary parameters such as relatively humidity and object temperature, can be set in the camera, in the field, resulting in a real-time infrared image with dew point information which indicates potential condensation problems.
Critical areas are automatically coloured with a transparent colour alarm, allowing the building inspector to see the problem area and its structure at the same time. Because all this information is available on-site, all parties involved in the inspection, ie craftsmen, architects and construction managers, can evaluate the severity of the problem.
Text and Voice Comments
Record up to 30 seconds of voice data using the B20’s headset with integrated microphone (optimised to surpress background noise).
These recordings, together with text data suchas floor level, compass point, wind speed, wall material and thickness, are stored on the camera along with the relevant image, ready to be downloaded into ThermaCAM™ Reporter software to create professional building inspection reports.
Sound and Colour Alarms
The building inspector can set a maximum temperature value in the camera which, if exceeded, will automatically produce an audible alarm and all parts of the image where this temperature is exceeded will be highlighted by a transparent colour, ensuring that the tiniest problem area is not overlooked.
Automatic Maximum Temperature Difference Calculation
Maximum temperature difference is often used to investigate areas of doubt.
The ThermaCAM™ B20 can automatically calculate the temperature difference between the highest and lowest points in an infrared image. Both points are clearly identified and the value of this difference is displayed inside the camera and automatically saved along with the image.
Incorporated Emissivity Tables
To make correct temperature measurements, you need to set the correct emissivity. Predefined values for frequently inspected materials in the building industry (concrete, wood, painted walls, wallpaer, cement, bricks etc.) are stored in the camera enabling you to choose the correct emissivity settings instantly.
Image Gallery
The B20’s built-in ‘Image Gallery’, allows you to browse through thumbnails of stored images and easily find and select the one you wish to review.
Ergonomic and Rugged Design – Perfect for Indoor and Outdoor Applications
Designed for use in harsh environments, the ThermaCAM™ B20 is built to withstand shocks (25G) and vibration (2G).
IP 54 rated, the B20 is dust and watersplash proof and, at only 1.4kg in weight, is comfortable to use for several hours a day.
